'She's a singer right?' Cheryl Cole's US hopes dealt a new blow as Jennifer Lopez admits she 'doesn't know much about her'

By SARA NATHAN and LIZ THOMAS

Snub: Jennifer Lopez has admitted she'd never heard of Cheryl Cole in a new interview

Jennifer Lopez has dealt Cheryl Cole’s hopes of hitting the big time in the U.S. a blow after admitting she doesn’t know much about the British singer.

Miss Cole is poised to take a role on the American version of The X Factor which Simon Cowell is launching later this year, but executives are worried the star simply does not have a high enough profile.

Show insiders said that the 27-year-old Girls Aloud singer is set to take a role on the new programme in a multi-million pound deal but there has been some anguish about whether viewers will know who she is or be able to understand the Geordie star’s accent.

Miss Lopez, 41, who is a judge on rival show American Idol, has now twisted the knife by admitting she knows very little about Miss Cole and was not even sure what she did for a living.

‘Someone mentioned [Cheryl] to me yesterday,’ Miss Lopez told Fabulous magazine.
‘She is a singer, right?

Hopeful: Cheryl, pictured at the Prince's Trust awards in London last week, is set to appear on the U.S. X Factor

Giving her a role on his new American version of The X Factor is a gamble for Cowell – who is determined that the show will be a hit.

He so far only formally named one judge to appear on the panel - record executive and music producer Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid.

He has helped launch the careers of stars including Mariah Carey, Pink, Rihanna, Kanye West and Justin Bieber.

Singers Nicole Scherzinger, Katy Perry, Mariah Carey, rapper Nicki Minaj and George Michael have been among the names also touted to join.

Rival: Lopez is a judge on rival programme American Idol

Auditions for the series began today with around 18,000 hopefuls descending on Los Angeles in a bid to become a star.

Cowell has a difficult task ahead of him as rival show American Idol which has big name stars Miss Lopez, Randy Jackson and Aerosmith’s Steve Tyler on the panel, remains the most watched programme in the U.S. pulling in as much as 30 million viewers an episode.

Cowell, 51, used to be a judge but quit to launch The X Factor there.

The winner of the show will receive a Sony Music recording contract worth $5million - which is far higher than the £1million deal offered on the British show.

Not famous enough for U.S. TV? Jennifer admitted she didn't know Cheryl's music but 'would be happy to learn about it,' but her ignorance underlines X Factor producers' concerns

Miss Lopez , who has a music and merchandise empire worth £150million, said joining the judging panel on American Idol had boosted her popularity.

She said: ‘I think it is helping to show people the real me for the first time. It’s funny because I always knew that person was there - it’s just that no one else did!
‘I guess I was always a character, either with a script in a movie or performing a song on the stage, and people never saw the human side of me. Now viewers can see that I’m emotional and passionate and human.’

Hair raising! Jason Gardiner reveals new £12,000 hair transplant as Laura Hamilton scores perfect 10s on Dancing On Ice final

By JODY THOMPSON

Hair today: The previously bald Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner revealed the results of his £12,000 hair transplant live on the show's grand final tonight

It's a secret he'd literally been keeping under his hat - but tonight Dancing On Ice's acid-tongued judge Jason Gardiner unveiled his new hair transplant live during the grand final.

The 39-year-old Australian was so bowled over by children's TV presenter Laura Hamilton's performance on the rink that he doffed his trilby to her - and revealed the layer of dark brown growth on his previously shiny pate.

Jason flashed the fuzz after Laura and partner Colin Ratushniak landed straight 10s from all three judges for their routine to the Pointer Sisters' I'm So Excited.

Hats off: The judge decided to literally take his hat off in salute to Laura Hamilton's perfect 10s after her routine in the grand final to The Pointer Sisters I'm So Excited

As he shocked the crowd with his unveiling, he said: 'Laura I have to say I take my hat off to you - incredible! You have just proven why you are in this competition. You just took it to another level.'

Before: Jason, pictured here in January, had an almost entirely bald head before undergoing his hair transplant

Surprised co-host Holly Willoughby gasped afterwards: 'I'm almost sepeechless about what was under the hat!'

It's understood Jason spent £12,000 on the procedure where follicles are taken from the back of the head on embedded into the crown.

It had been rumoured before the final that the judge would be unveiling his thatch on the show, but that was denied by host Phillip Schofield at the start.

Hair we go: Jason Gardiner was so impressed with Laura that he revealed his new hair transplant in her honour - but the public voted for Sam

The remaining two couples, Sam Attwater and Brianne Delcourt and Laura and Colin were then left to battle it out and skate the routine made famous by the show's chief coaches, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean - the legendary Bolero.

Judges votes no longer counted - and it was solely down to the public to decided who would be the Dancing On Ice 2011 champion - and they decided on Sam, despite Laura's perfect 10s.

Sam Attwater wins Dancing On Ice 2011

By JODY THOMPSON

Winner: Former EastEnders star Sam Attwater lifted the Dancing On Ice 2011 trophy after skating a 'passionate' Bolero with partner Brianne Delcourt

Former EastEnders star Sam Attwater was crowned the Dancing On Ice 2011 champion after one of the tightest grand finals the show has ever seen

The 24-year-actor won the public's hearts with his 'passionate' version of show star's Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean's Bolero - despite accidentally leaving his hand on her breast at the end as they sprawled on the ice.

Sam gushed about Brianne, 29, too as he lifted the winner's trophy, saying: 'I've had the time of my life. I've made a friend for life and I wouldn't be here now if it wasn't for Brianne.'

High five: The pair were thrilled to be crowned champions - and Sam dedicated his win to Brianne, who he said would be a 'friend for life'

The pair won through with their consistently good skating since the show started in January and Sam had been the bookies' favourite since day one.

However, they had caused controversy earlier in the show's run over accusations they had tried to manipulate viewers with a 'faux-mance' between themselves.

In February, they had told show host Phillip Schofield they were 'an item' as they conducted a series of photoshoots in glossy magazines, even posing in bed with just their ice skates and giving quotes saying they ‘loved each other to bits’ and had met each other’s parents.

First Look at Will Ferrell on 'The Office' Has a Big Hug

Will Ferrell will replace Steve Carell as the boss at Dunder Mifflin in the next few episodes of "The Office", and NBC has given the first taste of his appearance. In a newly released sneak peek, the successor and Michael Scott are seen sharing a big hug.

Carell's departure story arc starts as his character Scott proposed to Holly Flax in the March 24 episode. It was also revealed that he will follow her to Colorado. After this heart-warming episode, "The Office" goes on a hiatus before returning on April 14 with the first of a multi-episode arc by Ferrell.

Although Ferrell is the replacement, NBC has stated he would not be a full-time cast. His multi-episode arc indeed will end a week after Carell leaves the show on April 28.

Preview: 'Fringe' Goes Inside Olivia's Mind

In 'Lysergic Acid Diethylamide', Olivia is gone for good but the team makes a final attempt to get her back by entering her mind.

The desperate attempt to save Olivia from the death leads to the decision to enter her mind ala "Inception". In three weeks, "Fringe" will begin the story arc that builds the third season finale with "Lysergic Acid Diethylamide". The new episode airs April 15 on FOX.

Speaking of what will lead up to the finale, showrunner Joel Wyman told THR, "Consistently, we've tried to have a new chapter begin at the end of the seasons. The first season was the Twin Towers and the second season was Olivia over there. This one will have the same effect that, sort of the beginning of a new understanding of the program."

The sci-fi series has just been given a full season 4 order by the network. "FOX has been supportive throughout this process, from the beginning and certainly this season, wall-to-wall. They told us they were thrilled with the show creatively, the number wasn't exactly what they would"ve hoped for but they know the audience is deep and loyal and returns, and that's valuable to them," fellow exec producer Jeff Pinkner said.

He admitted that they have had a general idea of what season 4 will bring but said, "We don't have all the episodes written but we have the framework of a plan for the next series."

'Nervous wreck' Chloe Madeley fears she'll crack under pressure in Dancing On Ice final

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Finalists: Laura Hamilton, Sam Attwater and Cloe Madeley will battle it out in the Dancing On Ice final tomorrow night

Chloe Madeley might have made it to the grand finals but the Dancing On Ice star is worried she’ll crack under pressure.

The daughter of TV’s Richard and Judy is said to be a ‘nervous wreck’ over tomorrow’s final and fears she’ll mess up the lift which she hopes to bring her victory.

The 24-year-old is hoping to dazzle judges on the ITV1 show with a sexy Dirty Dancing routine.

Impressive moves: Chloe impressed earlier in the series with dance moves like these ones

Chloe and her dance partner Michael Zenezini will try to recreate the lift that Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey made famous in the 1987 hit film.

But if it goes wrong, her dream of winning the competition will be shattered and a show source says she’s ‘really scared’.

Injuries: Sam Attwater crashed into the ice during rehearsals earlier in the week, leaving his with sprained ribs and slashed knuckle

The former EastEnders star crashed into the ice during rehearsals earlier in the week, leaving his with sprained ribs and slashed knuckles.

‘I was doing a lift where I’m lifting two girls and then I just went and the way I landed I tried to save both the girls and went down and sprained my ribs and got a blade across my knuckles,’ he said.

But despite his fall, Sam is still the bookies’ favourite to win the dance-off against Chloe and Laura Hamilton.

Sam, 24, is set to dance to Footloose, while 28-year-old Laura is planning to shine while dancing to Madonna’s Express Yourself.

But children’s TV presenter Laura is also said to be scared that her fan base isn’t strong enough

She said: ‘Of course I was worried the fact not many people knew me could go against me.

‘I always knew from week one when it was completely down to the public vote that we’d struggle to make it through.

Worried: TV presenter Laura is also said to be scared that her fan base isn't strong enough to win

‘You don’t know how the public have taken to you – that’s why we didn’t expect to get this far.’

Meanwhile, Chloe said of her routine: ‘I have lots of boys in my showcase and lots of lifts.

‘There’s pressure from all these men telling me to get it right. I don’t want to injure anyone and I find it quite overwhelming.’

The Dancing On Ice final kicks off tomorrow at 7:40pm on ITV1

Jennifer Lopez masks her natural beauty with too much blush and green eyeshadow on American Idol

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Clown show: J.Lo looked as though she had raided the make-up box of Steve Tyler with her over-the-top green eye-shadow and full on rosy cheeks

Jacob Lusk raised the roof with Marvin Gaye's All I Need to Get By

Favourite Pia Toscano looked stunning in a long black fitted gown

She's a natural beauty, one of the most gorgeous woman in the world.

But Jennifer Lopez managed to hide her good looks under a cake of make-up on last night's American Idol.

She looked like she had raided the make-up box of fellow judge Steve Tyler with her over-the-top green eye-shadow and full blown rosy cheeks.

Pretty in pink: The singer's sparkly top was however pretty and a more softer choice for the 41-year-old who normally goes for bolder choices, such as the leopard print dress she wore last week

Luckily she salvaged her look with a pretty sparkly top, a softer choice for the 41-year-old, who normally goes for bolder attire, such as the loud leopard print dress she wore on last week's show.

Her outfit, which she paired with pleated pink skirt, complemented the theme of the night - Motown - a music movement that originated in the 50s.

Jennifer's poor make-up choice came as the remaining 11 contestants tried to impress her and fellow judges Randy Jackson and Tyler with their soulful sounds.

And it was Jacob Lusk that stole the show with his 'flawless' rendition of All I Need To Get By by Marvin Gaye.

His roof-raising performance prompted Tyler to get up from the panel and embrace Lusk on-stage.

Randy Jackson was equally impressed telling the audience: ' Do you know what was wrong with that performance? Absolutely nothing!'

And Jennifer was simply left quivering in her Christian Louboutins.

'You made us beg!' she cried. 'You made us beg for those notes! We were like, 'Give it to us, Jacob! Give it to us, Jacob!' You know what it is? You move me. You move us...You just took your time with it and you made us beg! Crazy!'

But close on Husk's tail was favourite Pia Toscano, who has so far outshone her fellow contestants.

Yet again it was a confident and polished performance from the singer, who performed All In Love Is Fair by Stevie Wonder.

Show stopper: Jacob Lusk stole the show with his 'flawless' rendition of All I Need To Get By by Marvin Gaye

Blown away: His roof raising performance impressed all three of the judges

'So again you kill us with one of your killer ballads,' Lopez said. 'But I need you to start to incorporate more that other part into your performance.'

Randy also loved the song but told her that next time he wanted something different: 'The only thing for me... bring me something different. You can't live on ballads alone.'

But Tyler was simply blown away.

Perfect: Yet again it was a confident and polished performance from the Pia Toscano, who performed All In Love Is Fair by Stevie Wonder

'Right now you are the closest star in the American Idol universe,' he said.

Recovering from his failed Nirvana performance last week, Casey Abrams gave a growling rendition of another Marvin Gaye classic, I Heard It Through The Grapevine.

Fellow rocker Tyler was clearly impressed. 'I think you are the perfect entertainer. You're beautiful and I love it.'

James Durbin also had the crowd at their knees with Living In The City by Stevie Wonder.

'Omg, omg, omg, you are serious business up there,' exclaimed Jennifer. 'I mean it's just an incredible thing to watch... You leave me speechless and that is not easy to do.'

Randy added:'To be honest when you started, it was a little bit rough for me,.. When you finally hit your pocket, your stride, you were unbelievable.

And Tyler agreed: 'I think sometimes it takes being a little bit of crazy to make it in this world... You nailed it.'

Brunette stunner Thia Megia appeared to have overcome some her stage freeze as she performed Heat Wave by Martha and The Vandellas .

'It was great to see you let loose like that,' smiled J. Lo.

And after being in the bottom three last week, Haley Reinhart got back in the game with You Really Got A Hold On Me by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles.

Her perfect pitching and persistent purring impressed all three of the judges.

'It started a little bit rough but I tell you what by the middle of the song, the Haley that we love... came roaring back. I am happy to see you return,' said Randy.

Steven chimed in: 'I feel you and I felt her... You don;t look a day over fabulous. That is the Haley I have been looking for the first time I saw you.'

Jennifer also agreed: 'You can do anything with your voice probably more than anyone in the competition.'

Paul McDonald brought the raspy tones of Rod Steward to the table as he belted out another Smokey Robinson track, The Tracks of My Tears.

Tyler compared the voice to two other very famous singers.

'Like Dylan, like Willie Nelson, your voice is that different,' he said.

Lauren Alaina serenaded judges by getting off the stage and strolling over to the panel to sing The Supremes classic, You Keep Me Hangin' On.

Quick witted Tyler came up with the perfect comment to round out the impressive recital.

'You ripped that song another beauty spot, didn't you?' he exclaimed.
J.Lo was more impressed with the teenagers appearance.

'This is the most beautiful I have seen you on the show,' she remarked.

Country crooner Scotty McCreery pulled off the impossible by singing a perfect rendition For Once in My Life by Stevie Wonder.

Many thought that the 17-year-old would bomb in this week's theme.

But the judges were blown away.

'Scotty that was beautiful... So you took a bit chance in doing that and I love that you really ripped it,' said Tyler.

Jennifer was impressed with his rendition: 'This was a great version of this song... you really made it your most. I don't know if it was your best performance vocally Every time you hit that low note at the end, you got me all over again.

And Randy agreed: 'That is a young lady killer note!'

For her performance of Martha And The Vandellas' Dancing In The Street, Naima Adedapo slipped into some bell bottoms and busted out some tribal moves to the beat of the drum.

The judges were impressed with all of her theatrics, especially Jennifer who told the 26-year-old that she gave her 'gooseys'.

'I am going to be totally honest, it was my first goosebumps of the night... You are my mover and my shaker up there... you have that litttle extra something on the stage.

'I heard you came up with drum and the whole thing... Once again we see the whole package,' mused Steve.

Randy admitted that he had been harsh in the past but that he had changed his tune: 'I have been a little rough on you in the past shows... but tonight the whole of Naima turned up. Everything was very smart that you did tonight.'

Variety: For her performance of Aretha Franklin's Dancing In The Street, Naima Adedapo slipped into some bell bottoms and busted out some tribal moves to the beat of the drum

Surprisingly the most criticised performance came from judge favourite Stefano Langone.

For his rendition of Lionel Richie's Hello, both Jennifer and Randy agreed that he failed to connect with the audience.

'You sounded good, but there was no real connection,' Randy concurred.

J.Lo said 'I want you to connect. I want the intensity to come from like my heart is breaking.'

'I want you to connect... I still love you anyway.'

No connection: For his rendition of Lionel Richie's Hello, both J.Lo and Randy agreed that Stefano Langone did not connect with the audience enough

Meanwhile the audience once again had some famous faces.

Actress Liv Tyler came along in support of her Aerosmith rocker father.

Host Ryan Secreast teased the 33-year-old saying: 'You'll will need earmuffs for part of the show.'

British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey was also spotted in the crowd.

Hand me the microphone, Mum! Jennifer Hudson upstaged by her son on The View

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Stealing the limelight: As soon as Jennifer Hudson brought her19-month-old son on the set of The View it was clear that he would not go unnoticed

She went on the The View to promote her album and chat about her incredible weight loss story.

But Jennifer Hudson, 29, was quickly upstaged by her son David Jr, who accompanied her onto the set.

At first the 19-month-old had all of The View ladies cooing and fawning all over him as he sat on his mother's lap.

Co-hosts Whoppi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd and Elizabeth Hasslebeck couldn't get enough of the little boy as they greeted the Academy Award winning singer and actress.

Jennifer explained that she brought David on the show because he couldn't bear to be without his mother.

'He wouldn't let me leave him, so I had to bring him with me,' she told the ladies.

Enamoured: The adorable toddler had all of The View ladies cooing and fawning all over him as he obediently sat on his mother's lap and took to the microphone

Clearly not camera shy, he held onto the microphone for his mother throughout the segment.

Showing he shared his mother's passion for singing, he cooed and hummed the whole was through Jennifer's interview.

But the proud mother was nonplussed, and could only speak of the love she shared for her son.

'I just learn from him, he keeps me smiling everyday,' she said. 'I run out of space on my phone, trying to capture everything he does.'

She then showed a clip of David Jr. singing along to a R&B song while wearing just a nappy.

Confident: The tot was clearly not camera shy as he held onto the microphone for his mother throughout the segment

Dressed in baby blue Rocawear puffa jacket, a pair of jeans and all-white trainers for his TV-screen début, David Jr. was epitome of cute.

His slim-line mother dressed in a simple black top and trouser combination that showed off her incredible figure.

She jazzed the outfit up with a aqua blue belt and some sparkly bangles.

Stunning: Following on from her appearance on the show, the beautiful singer was busy promoting the new album in New York City

Jennifer spoke of her dramatic weight loss on the show, which has seen the singer lose a staggering 80 pounds.

As before and after shots were shown on the screen behind her, the Dreamgirls star said that David Jr. does not recognise her in old pictures which show her former curvier figure.

'Sometime he doesn't recognise me before, because this is the only mommy he has known,' she said.

You said he was like your little brother: Ellen DeGeneres leaves Selena Gomez red faced over Justin Bieber relationship denial

By SARAH FITZMAURICE

Red faced: Selena Gomez is left embarrassed after Ellen DeGeneres played a clip of her denying her romance with Justin Bieber last year on her show earlier today

Ellen De Generes is not someone you want to lie to – just ask Selena Gomez.

The 18-year-old actress was caught out by the chat show host who reminded her of her last appearance on the show – when Selena denied she was dating Justin Bieber.

While Ellen welcomed Selena onto her show warmly it wasn’t long before she had the actress squirming in her seat as she showed clips of Selena saying the 17-year-old was ‘little’ and ‘like her brother’.

De Generes played the clip of Gomez’s last visit on the show from September 2010 which saw the actress scrunch up her face and strongly deny she was dating the pop star.

When asked if she was dating Bieber Selena responded: ‘He's little. He's like my little brother. That's weird to me.’

As the clip finished Selena put her head down in her hands and wailed: ‘Don’t take me to jail.’

'Oh no': Gomez looked mortified as DeGeneres handed her the pillow

The Sucker Punch actress was showing off her flawless figure in a tight bodycon white dress and had her brown hair flowing loosely as she was interviewed on the Ellen De Generes show aired today.

Ellen teased Selena for denying the romance and making her look a fool going public with her relationship with the pop singer at the Vanity Fair Oscar party, while the actress pleaded she didn’t lie.

Selena said: ‘I promise you I didn’t (lie). He’s just so sweet.’

The young couple have been separated in recent weeks as Justin touring the U.K. and Ellen presented the actress with a pillow with Justin’s face printed onto the front to keep her company while she is away.

Cool rider: Justin took to the ski slope in Manchester earlier today and enjoyed a snowboard but the 17-year-old looked a little dubious up on his board

Meanwhile in the U.K. Bieber fever has hit Manchester as the pop sensation is performing in the town tonight.

Today the Never Say Never singer cooled down at The Chill Factor, Manchester’s indoor real snow slope.

Justin was seen snowboarding down the snow with a red cap on backwards and judging from the look on his face he didn’t seem to confident on the board.

He's wheely something: Inventor who can Transform himself into the famous toy car

By MAIL FOREIGN SERVICE

Revved up: Drew Beaumier created his real-life Transformer outfit in his garage at home in Fountain Valley, California, armed with a tool box, a Power Wheels car and spare parts from Walmart

This is the man who has turned himself into a real life Transformer - by creating a fully functional Autobot costume out of a children's toy.

The must-have gadget for any die-hard Transformer fan was the brainchild of Californian Drew Beaumier.

He's already wowed the judges on American Idol and now he's created the crazy costume in his garage armed with just a beginner's tool box.

Animated fun: The part-time bar tender has taken to re-enacting famous scenes from the Transformer series for tourists on Hollywood Boulevard

It took eight weeks of constant trial and error to piece it together using a second-hand Power Wheels car to form the body and spare parts as well as glue bought at WalMart.

Transformer fanatic Drew then ripped the children's car apart leaving him with each separate section.

He then meticulously pieced the parts back together with hinges and glued it to a sports undergarment so he could wear it like a suit.

The robot costume comes complete with wheels attached to his arms and legs so he can fold down into a car and roll along.

Coming soon: Drew hopes to roll out his costume on mail order by 2012

But when he stands up, the costume springs back out into the superhero pose famed by Optimus Prime and Co.

The part-time bar tender has now taken to re-enacting famous scenes from the Transformer series along Hollywood and Sunset Boulevard.

And his street performances have already paid off the $300 he spent making his crazy creation after eager tourists began tipping him to have photos taken next to the real-life action hero.

Drew, 25, said: 'I've always been a big Transformers fan ever since I was a tiny kid. I remember I was struggling for money, working a few rubbish bar jobs and then it hit me - make a Transformer costume and go and entertain all the tourists.

Full-on action scene from the 2007 Transformers film showing Decepticon Bonecrusher battling with Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots

'But the idea never really got off the ground until a few years after the idea first came to me.

'It was only when a good condition Power Wheels car was advertised for sale that I snapped it up and began making it.

'Within two months I had a prototype built and fully working.

It's a yes from me! 'Simon Cowell secures judging role for Cheryl Cole on X Factor U.S.A and lines Nicole Scherzinger up as host'

By SARAH FITZMAURICE

Pulling stings: Simon Cowell is said to have persuaded TV executives to include Cheryl Cole as a judge on the U.S. version of the show according to reports

TV executives were said to have ruled her out from the lineup of the U.S. version of the X Factor over concerns regarding her strong Geordie accent and lack of profile in America.

But today reports have emerged that Cheryl Cole will be taking a seat next to Simon Cowell and the music mogul is said to have convinced FOX bosses about the former Girls Aloud singer.

Meanwhile it has also been alleged that Nicole Scherzinger, who was a hot favourite for the judging role, will also said to be taking part in the show – as the host.

‘On the judging front things are changing almost daily but Simon has put his neck on the line to sell Cheryl to network bosses,’ a source told The Daily Mirror.

‘After being stonewalled initially Simon believes he has convinced them to sign off her deal.’

Former Pussycat Doll Nicole was said to be lined up for a judging role on the U.K. version of the show, after impressing as a temporary judge when Cheryl was off ill with malaria last year.

New host: Nicole Scherzinger who was said to have been considered as a judge on the both the U.S. and the U.K. versions of the show is now said to be gearing up to host the American version of the show

But the Poison singer is said to be joining the Stateside version of the show after Simon, 51, negotiated a deal with her record label to allow her to appear on the show.

‘Nicole’s had screen tests and is a natural in front of the camera. Autocue does not faze her at all,’ a source told the paper.

They added: ‘As an established singer, both as a solo artist and in a group, Nicole will be great with the contestants and she knows what she is talking about.’

New recruit: Antonio 'L.A'Reid, pictured her with Rihanna in 2009, is said to be joining the American X Factor panel

While nothing has been formally signed by the girls it has been confirmed that music producer Anotonia ‘L.A.’ Reid will make up part of the judging panel.

In a statement released last week Simon Cowell said that the 54-year-old was his ‘number one choice’ for the role.

The 54-year-old has had an impressive career in the music industry and has helped to launch the careers of Mariah Carey, Pink, Rihanna, Kayne West and Justin Bieber.

While Reid was confirmed as a judge, rapper Nicki Minaj was also said to be being considered for a judging role on the show.

Katy Perry, Mariah Carey and Paula Abdul have all thought to have been considered as a judge of the U.S. version of the show.

A spokesperson for Simon Cowell was unavailable for comment this morning.

ไม่ว่าจะทำเช่นไรเธอคงจะไม่รักกัน
No matter how hard I've tried, you'd never love me.

และก็รู้ไม่นานความฝันที่มีก็คงจบไป
And soon, all my hopes will be faded away.

* แต่ตอนนี้ยังมีเวลา ที่ฉันจะหาเหตุผลดีๆ
But now I still have some time for finding some good reasons

มาฉุดรั้งเธอตอนนี้แต่ก็รู้ดีไม่มีหวัง *
to hold you back to me. But deep down I know it's hopeless.

** ต่อให้ฉันจะรักเธอมากเท่าไหร่
Even if I love you this much,

แต่ก็รู้ว่าเธอคงจะไม่สนใจ
but it's just meaningless to you.

แต่ยังฝันไกลและยังคงหวังเอาไว้ข้างในจิตใจ
I'd just been hoping too much that someday you'd love me too.

แต่ก็รู้เป็นไปไม่ได้ เมื่อเธอคิดว่าฉันไม่ใช่ แต่ไม่เป็นไร
Despite the fact that it's impossible, and I'm not the one, it's still okay.

ก็อยากจะขอมีเธอเรื่อยไปในใจไปอีกแสนนาน **
Let me just keep you in my heart till the time ends.

และแม้สิ่งที่ฉันทำวันนี้ มันอาจไม่ทำให้เธอได้รู้สึกดี
Even everything that I've got can never make you happy.

สิ่งที่ใจเธอพอจะมีก็เพียงแต่ความรำคาญ
And worse it would annoy you.

แต่อยากจะขอให้เธอได้ฟังเอาไว้
But please hear me out just one time.

บทเพลงสุดท้ายที่ฉันตั้งใจจะมอบให้ไป
This one last song that I'm willing to give it to you.

ที่กลั่น ออกมาจากใจ และมีให้เธอผู้เดียวเท่านั้น
It came from the bottom of my heart, and it's only for you.

*,**

ไม่รู้ว่านานเท่าไหร่ กว่าที่ฉันจะลบเธอจากใจ
Don't know how long will it take for me to erase you from my mind.

กว่าที่ความทรงจำดี ๆ มันจะเลือนหาย กว่าจะได้รักใครอีกครั้ง...
Don't know when will I be able to love again.
**
เมื่อเธอคิดว่าชั้น ไม่ใช่
Since I'm not the one for you.

ก็ไม่เป็นไร ตราบใดที่ฉันจะยังหายใจ
It's okay, as long as I'm still breathing.

จะรักเธอไปตลอดกาล..
I will love you forever.

Dancing On Ice 2011: Johnson Beharry is voted off as Chloe Madeley, Laura Hamilton and Sam Attwater go through to the grand final

Emotional exit: Johnson Beharry VC and partner Jodeyne Higgins were voted off Dancing On Ice on the semi-final

Johnson Beharry VC missed out on a place in the Dancing On Ice final tonight, after facing Chloe Madeley in the skate-off.

The Victoria Cross hero was voted off the programme in the semi-final after the three judges unanimously decided to save Chloe.

But ever-cheery Johnson managed to take the news well, telling viewers: 'There's no need to be sad, I had loads of fun - the time of my life.'

Unanimous: All the judges decided to save Chloe Madeley and Michael Zenezini after the skate-off

After revealing the public vote, hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby announced that Sam Attwater and Brianne Delcourt had made it through to next week's final, before announcing they would be joined by Laura Hamilton and Colin Ratushniak.

That left Chloe Madeley and Michael Zenezini and Johnson Beharry VC and partner Jodeyne Higgins to perform in the skate-off.

Chloe and Michael were first up, and while the routine was perhaps slightly more hesitant, the pair got through without repeating the tumble they had earlier managed during the routine.

Green with envy: Johnson and Jodeyne performed to Noah and the Whale's Life Goes On

A clearly emotional Jodeyne said after the performance: 'Every moment I have been out of the ice with this man has been truly inspirational.'

But it was a unanimous decision from the judges, who all voted for Chloe to get through to the final next week.

Earlier in the show, the skaters were shown being told by judge Robin Cousins that they would have to complete a solo routine after finishing their first dance.

The celebrities were also told both of the routines would be given marks by the judges, giving them the chance to earn a maximum of 60 points.

Chloe and Michael were first up on the semi-final week, with Chloe admitting she was stunned to have made it so far in the competition.

As well as attempting a knee slide, Chloe and Michael tried their most dangerous lift to date, the 'Roman Candle' lift which sees Chloe place her skates on Michael's chest and lean forward.

And after the dress rehearsal for the show, Chloe was left in tears after finding the lift to difficult to complete, insisting: 'This is the most ridiculous thing we have done to date'.
